Star Wars: Rise of the Sith

Order 66 was a technical failure, more Jedi survived than was supposed to and went into hiding; the Empire collapsed with the death of the Emperor at the hands of his own Apprentice. With the gaping void where the Empire had once stood, planets were in ruin and people were left fighting day to day to live.

The Jedi Order was shattered, trying to reform as the Rebels hunted down the remnants of the Empire, before they could reestablish power.
